I am a self-employed nomadic writer from the UK.
I write about travel, sustainability, and wellbeing. I welcome collaborations with ethically-minded and environmentally-friendly businesses that champion equality and sustainability.
Prior to launching my freelance business, I worked in-house for leading London-based book publishers for 7+ years. I worked my way up from Publicity Assistant to Publicity Manager and dipped my toes into marketing and sales positions along the way to broaden my skills.
My first venture in self-employment was publicising new books from independent authors as well as a number of small businesses including a boutique furniture brand. These days, I work full-time as a freelance writer.
As a location independent freelancer, I am fortunate to split my time between the UK and, well, anywhere else.
Over the past four years, my roving lifestyle has taken me across Asia, New Zealand, and the Caucasus. Most recently I was based in Tbilisi, Georgia, where I enjoyed escaping to the mountains and getting to grips with Georgian cuisine.
I picked up a BA (Hons) in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology from the University of Warwick and continue to be enthralled by ancient civilisations, architecture, and mythology.
When I am not at my desk I enjoy reading contemporary fiction, creative writing, hiking, practising yoga, and all types of water sports.
